In July of 2016 I went with my son Steve to the 13th Annual Busy Bird Bluegrass Festival. The event was held in Berkshire New York. Steve’s band, the Jersey Cornpickers, were playing at the festival. I went along to see the festival and to man merchandise sales while the band was playing. It was also an opportunity to do some jamming with my banjo. We were camping and I took my watercolor supplies along but didn’t get a chance to paint up there. This farm was across the road from the fields where we camped and was the view from the back of the bandstand where the bands played. It looked really cool with a row of tractors sitting outside so I took some photographs and painted it in the studio when I got home.
