Atlantic City Back Bay

I love to cruise in boats in the tidal waters behind Brigantine and Atlantic City. Along with the marshes and wildlife, there is incredible variety in the age and style of structures you pass. I spotted this group of houses on my first trip in brother-in-law Peters new boat in July of 2016. I took pictures and painted this is the studio in January of 2017. It sat that long because most of the fall I’m painting outdoors.
I love the shapes and colors of the buildings and the water in the foreground.
