Strolling At St. Peters Village

I visited St. Peter’s Village several time during the summer of 2017 painting en plein air and taking photographs. Strolling In St. Peter’s Village was painted in my studio in July of 2017 from photographs taken earlier in the year.
I was attracted by the colors, the geometry of the buildings, the light bouncing off the electrical wires and the shadows on the street. There were a lot more trees visible in the center of the picture but I left those out because I really like the shape of the sky against the roofs of the buildings.
