Old Barn In Eagle Country

I was riding down to the shore in on a back road and drove by this old barn. I was consciously thinking about scenes to paint. I saw the barn as I drove by but it didn’t register until I was well past. I had to back up to get a better look. It was awesome. The barn was huge. The proportions relative to the car and trailer are correct in the painting.
I took some photos and went home and painted the barn with watercolors in my studio. I generally captured the scene. It was a little different in that the tank was on the left side of the barn. I chose to move it.
