Falling Water was painted in early February of 2023. It is a watercolor painted on Yupo. This is a polymer material that is smooth and impervious to water. It is quite different from painting on watercolor paper. The paint sits on the surface and moves around until it dries. I wanted to get familiar with using it prior to attending a DVAL workshop by Judith Hummer on painting on Yupo scheduled for February 21st, 2023
